LanternIQ uses evidence when a useful answer depends on current brand or market information.

Evidence sources

Depending on your request and connected accounts, an investigation can review:
  • Brand Kit and knowledge bases.
  • AI visibility and tracked prompt results.
  • Owned, competitor, and independent citation sources.
  • Google Search Console.
  • Google Analytics.
  • Existing pages and public web sources.
  • Prior Projects and approved decisions.

Investigation progress

The investigation panel shows what LanternIQ is reviewing. Expand it to see completed sources, unavailable sources, analysis steps, and timing. An unavailable source does not automatically invalidate the full answer. LanternIQ should explain when missing evidence materially limits the conclusion.

Evidence quality

Lantern distinguishes current evidence from stale, insufficient, or conflicting evidence. Recommendations should distinguish observed facts from interpretation. Outcome reporting uses “Observed after this initiative” unless the measurement design supports a causal claim.

Citations

Web citations and stored first-party evidence remain linked to the answer that used them. Open the source list when you need to verify a statement or understand the recommendation.
