# Citations

> See every domain AI models cited when answering questions about your category.

When an AI model answers a buying-intent question like "What is the best project management software?", it references specific sources — a G2 review, a Reddit thread, a blog post. These are **citations**. The more your domain appears as a citation, the more influential you are in AI-driven discovery.

## Citation table

| Column         | Description                                    |
| -------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| Domain         | The cited website                              |
| Citation count | How many times it was cited across all prompts |
| Category       | The topic cluster the citation appeared in     |

## Filtering

* **Search** by domain name
* **Filter by platform** — Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, Medium, G2, or all

## How to use this

**Domains you don't have content on** — Reddit threads and G2 pages that AI cites frequently are opportunities. Consider responding to relevant Reddit threads or completing your G2 profile.

**Competitor domains appearing frequently** — means competitors have content AI trusts. Study that content and produce better alternatives.

**Your own domain in the list** — means your content is being cited. Reinforce it with more depth, fresh data, and updated statistics.
